3. Understanding Your Earnings
Google AdSense earnings depend on several factors, including:
- Cost Per Click (CPC) – The amount advertisers pay per click on ads.
- Click-Through Rate (CTR) – The percentage of users who click on ads.
- Revenue Per Thousand Impressions (RPM) – The estimated earnings per 1,000 pageviews.
- Ad Types & Quality – The better the ad placement and quality, the higher the earnings.
- Traffic Source & Audience – Earnings vary based on user demographics and geographic location.
Formula for estimating AdSense earnings:
Earnings = (Page Views × CTR × CPC) / 100
Or using RPM:
Earnings = (Page Views × RPM) / 1000
Example Calculation:
- Page Views: 10,000
- CTR: 2% (0.02)
- CPC: $0.50
- RPM: $5
Using CTR & CPC: (10,000 × 0.02 × 0.50) / 100 = $100
Using RPM: (10,000 × 5) / 1000 = $50
Adjusting for Revenue Share:
AdSense typically keeps 32%, and the publisher (you) gets 68%.
Final Earnings = Total Earnings × 0.68
4. How to Withdraw Earnings?
Once you reach the minimum payout threshold ($100), you can request a withdrawal. Payments are processed via Bank Transfer or UPI after deducting TDS.
